The first of December 1989 was a red-letter day within the Danish market gardens. This moment marks the establishment of flora marketing aps and the breakthrough as an independent businessman for Søren Højsgaard. We are not talking about a debut. Previously Søren Højsgaard had gathered great experience by his employment with GIC (now Garta) and later with Elmer (now Elmer Print). The work of the firm took its starting point from the private home of Søren Højsgaard. Since then it has been on firm ground in the industrial district of Hinnerup and is known as a well-run firm with a good reputation and a professionally considerable substance. Nowadays as well as then concentrated on design and sale of bags for pot plants and labels. The product assortment has though considerably larger width and depth now.
The location is strategically chosen as the active, traffic centre of the local district with ideal approach from motorway E45. This decision was taken to manifest the foundation of customers in Norway, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. There are now 7 employees, all of which with their own field of activity and responsibility – see “contact”.
